Intro to Restorative Justice Circles

During this session, attendees will engage in community building exercises, multimedia presentation, and ample dialogue around the core tenets of "RJ." Finally, participants will have a chance to enter their very own restorative circle, designed in the model that the DC Peace Team uses in the greater Washington, DC community.

LAST SESSION! Over the past three months, Kai has helped us practice a path to protect oneself without harming the individual with which you are interacting. This school of thought revolves around the reduction of hostility, re-humanization of parties, redirection of movement and seeking to disengage. This practice session will be largely experiential and learning-by-doing.
