White Supremacist Violence in Relationships

White supremacy doesn’t just live in institutions; it lives between us. This session frames white supremacist violence as a vampiric virus, a pathogen that causes us to behave in ways that spread the virus, cause harm, and we can be oblivious to. This session introduces the metaphor of the vampire virus to describe how relational violence spreads through domination, manipulation, fragility, and avoidance. Through storytelling and scenario work, participants will learn how to identify when white supremacy infects relationships and what relational harm looks like in action.
