Unearthing Tales playback theatre show

Unearthing Tales is a DC-based playback theatre troupe. Playback theatre is a form of drama therapy that includes a conductor (leader), three actors, and a violinist. During performances, we invite audience members to share short stories from their lives, which are then reenacted through improvisation. Our goal is to offer a reflective, community-centered cultural experience that fosters connection.
