Second Chance Month Film Screening
April 23, 2024 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT
In honor of Second Chance Month, join us for a screening of “Returning Citizens,” a film that navigates the barriers to reentry in DC.
April is Second Chance Month, a time where we can reflect on new opportunities and second chances. Please join The National Reentry Network for Returning Citizens for a screening of “Returning Citizens,” a 2017 film that follows a community of returning citizens in Southeast DC as they navigate reentry and look for a second chance, or in some cases “a chance they never had in the first place”
A panel of returning citizens will lead a discussion following the film. We will end the night with a free raffle!
Eventbrite registration and/or proof of flier is REQUIRED for entry.
