Restorative Justice Conversations: A Talk With Dr. Stephanie Myers of Black Women for Positive Change

We invite our community members to join us for a series of guest speakers who will share the successes, challenges, and strategies they have gained by working in restorative justice!

Our first guest speaker is Dr. Stephanie E. Myers, the Vice President of R.J. Myers Publishing Company and National Co-Chair of Black Women for Positive Change (BW4PC). She served as a Presidential Appointee for 12 years, and in June 2023, was awarded the 2023 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

BW4PC is dedicated to “Changing the Culture of Violence” through promotion and awareness of de-escalation of violence tools and methods including Peace Circles, support for de-escalation legislation, production of nonviolence films and sponsorship of annual Months of NonViolence.
