May 25 National Day of Action: Protest Executive Order 14288
May 25, 2025 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm EDT
Free
On the 5th anniversary of George Floyd’s murder, we are calling on EVERYONE to join us at 2 PM at Lafayette Square for a nationwide day of action to protest the racist and reactionary policies of the Trump regime, including Executive Order (EO) 14288 on “Strengthening and Unleashing America’s Law Enforcement to Pursue Criminals and Protect Innocent Citizens.” We know this is just an excuse to further normalize police brutality, terrorize our communities and an attempt to walk back the progress made in 2020 when the world agreed we could not ignore the reality of police terror anymore. When black lives are under attack, we stand up and fight back! Justice for George Floyd and all victims of police terror! Rescind Trump’s police and prison state Executive order! Pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act! Community Control of the police now!
