Facilitation 101 Training

The revived DC Trainers Network is offering an Intro to Facilitation Training in a few weeks on March 17 from 10-4pm at the Festival Center. This is a “101” training, so if you want a refresher or you have new members (staff or otherwise) in your formations that could benefit from a crash course – this is perfect. The space is open to individuals and organizations in DC and the surrounding areas.
Our training will cover:
– Agenda setting and creation
– Building a container/group dynamics
– Race and power in groups
– Building a facilitation team/roles
We will be providing light snacks and a full lunch. We’re committed to offering these at low to no-cost for groups without professional development budgets, but are asking those with any funds available to contribute between $100 – 500 per person attending. Multiple people from the same organization/group are more than welcome (in fact, it’s encouraged). Feel free to share this link with others in your network.
