Black Love Day Teach-in & Letter Writing

February 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST

As part of the Black Love in Action Week of Action to #FreeKamauSadiki, join the DC Chapter of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement for a night of Black Love, letter writing, and collective action to bring Kamau Sadiki home. Kamau Sadiki is a devout Muslim, a loving father of two daughters and grandfather of five, and a veteran of the Black Panther Party and the New Afrikan Independence Movement. Kamau Sadiki, now turning 71 years old, is among many other incarcerated elders who suffer in prison from medical neglect. The only solution is for Kamau to be released. His family has been waiting for a long time to welcome him home.

Join the DC Chapter of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement for a night of Black Love, letter writing, and collective action to #FreeKamauSadiki. Bring your friends, comrades, and loved ones, enjoy some Black Love sweets and flowers, and write messages of love and support to our incarcerated elder and community leader, Kamau Sadiki! Wear a mask!
