Join us in the MLK Auditorium on February 2nd for a joint event with the new exhibit, Freedom & Resistance, inspired by the 1619 Project! We’ll have a film screening of Barry Farm: Community, Land and Justice followed by a conversation featuring a social worker who worked with former Barry Farm residents during the relocation (Dr. Bi’anncha Andrews), the film’s co-director (Sabiyha Prince), and Empower DC’s Staff Historian!
