This insightful event will take place at the historic GALA Hispanic Theatre, 3333 14th Street NW, Washington DC on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 6:30 PM

Afro-Latino/a/xs navigate a multifaceted identity, caught between their Black heritage and the often complex reality of Latinidad. While anti-Black sentiment persists within Latinidad, Afro-Latino/a/xs proudly engage with both sides of their rich background. This event delves into these nuanced experiences, exploring how Afro-Latino/a/xs navigate these intersecting identities to forge a complete sense of self and center Blackness within their lived realities.
